As the use of self-checkout areas continues to accelerate, Epson has developed a new receipt printer designed to keep the process running as efficiently as possible. The device is designed for busy kiosk spaces, providing fast printing, compact design and remote monitoring support.
Epson’s latest thermal receipt printer can help grocery stores facing labor shortages and work hard to ensure a smooth checkout system for shoppers who like to scan and pack groceries by themselves.

Other features of the new printer include a bezel option to improve paper path alignment and prevent paper jams, and illuminated LED alerts for quick troubleshooting. When both retailers and consumers prioritize sustainability, the machine can reduce paper consumption by up to 30%. Epson is part of Seiko Epson Corporation of Japan. It is also working hard to achieve negative carbon emissions and eliminate the use of resources such as oil and metals by 2050.
