A compact, flexible, and highly reliable 3 inch (up to 80 mm) open frame printer mechanism is very suitable for various self-service terminal printing applications, including parking tickets, self-service terminals, train ticketing, receipts, etc.
The BK3-31 thermal printer is designed for independent self-service kiosk installations, with a printing speed of up to 250 mm per second and a resolution of 203 dpi, which can generate high-quality text, graphics and barcodes. BK3-31 has a larger paper roll capacity than traditional packaging kiosk printers, supports 80/102/120 mm media roll diameter and 83/80/60/58/20 mm various media widths, suitable for a wider range of lottery tickets The printing application reduces token printing. Kiosk printers also provide a paper-saving mode through BIXOLON’s simple unified utility, which reduces paper waste, thereby saving 25% of paper and reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
The BK3-31 self-service terminal printer adopts a compact and light design, supports a variety of self-service terminal installation options, and provides design flexibility for self-service terminal manufacturers. With additional roller tension for seamless paper feeding, multi-position near-end sensors for easy monitoring of paper, detachable borders and adjustable media width frames, the printing mechanism can be personalized for various kiosk designs. The self-service terminal printing mechanism also has USB V2.0 and serial (9-pin male or 5-pin connector), and is equipped with a DC jack or 2-pin power connector as standard.
