Tips for using the receipt printer
1. Before using the newly purchased printer, you can use a soft cotton or cotton yarn dipped in a small amount of lubricating oil to wipe the print head sliding rod on a layer (Note: the action should be light and careful; do not contaminate the machine parts) back and forth a few times. ; It is best to add lubricating oil every 5 or 6 months!
2. The printer should always check whether the ribbon is displaced. If the ribbon is stuck and cannot move, the ribbon is easily damaged.
3. After the ribbon has been used for a period of time, the ribbon should be checked, and it is found that the surface starts to fluff, or the ribbon is damaged. At this time, the ribbon should be replaced immediately, otherwise the needles of the print head will be broken if not found in time.
4. When we replace the ribbon, because the quality of the printing ribbon will directly affect the printing effect and the life of the print head.
5. We must have a good working environment when placing the printer: the printer should avoid direct sunlight, and do not place the printer in a place with high temperature, humidity and dust, so as not to affect the performance. Do not place the printer in an environment with static electricity. At the same time, it is best not to use the same power socket for the plug of the printer and electrical appliances with high electrical power (such as air conditioners, dust collectors, etc.).
6. When we use the printer to type, do not let the printing needle hit the rubber roller directly, this will easily cause damage to the printer needle, and will also greatly abrade the rubber roller, affecting the printing effect and reducing the service life of the machine. At the same time, keep the typing rubber roller clean. If the surface has raised marks or wear and tear, do not continue to use it. The typing rubber roller should be replaced in time, otherwise the print head will break.
